“Guy’s music is a conversation between him and his children that everyone gets to hear.” – Jacky Bastek
“Guy’s tunes are so uplifting and full of energy you can’t help but start bobbing your head. His heartfelt lyrics about his family make you fall in love with him not only as a musician, but as a person too.” – Alexandr Misko
Guy is both a family man and committed do-it-the-hard-way musician. He channels the joys, trials and tribulations of being a father and husband into his tunes, which range from playing chilled grooves to foot-stomping anthems with percussion on his guitar. While it may seem that the treatment towards his guitar is at times extreme, it’s all in the pursuit and pleasure of performance and creating a fun experience for the audience.
Guy recently visitied London to do some recording, and is very happy to release his EP this winter:)
Another Mother is a duo that Guy does with his friend Freddy “Fretless” Dathe. Armed with a guitar and an upright bass, the groove-driven group plays on street corners, at wedding and on stages and like to have fun on stage and with the audience. They love to play their original music, but they also have a great time putting their own spin on tunes they know and love.
1001 Acoustic Nights
1001 Acoustic Nights is a concert series Guy started in 2017 with the goal of providing more opportunites and stages for original acoustic music in the region. The concert series ranges from local to international acts, and has taken place in Nürnberg, Fürth, Erlangen Regensburg and Ingolstadt.
Folk Trails is a new duo with Michael Sappington, a wonderful singer and mandolin player from Missouri who landed in Erlangen, Germany. The project has its foundation in Americana and also pays tribute to the myriad songs at that create the tapestry of American roots music.

People inspire me, particularly my wife and children. I love the opportunity to perform, wherever it may be. Sometimes it’s on street corners, other times with friends, occasionally with my heroes and more increasingly, in front of kindergarteners (by far the toughest audiences of all).
I am both a family man and artist. I try to channel the joys, trials and tribulations of being a father and husband into my music.
